What is Vision Health Pioneers?
Vision Health Pioneers is a Berlin-based incubator supporting early-stage startups in healthcare. The program is designed to help founders turn ideas into real solutions that can be tested and brought to market.
Over 10 months, selected teams work closely with mentors, industry experts, and partners to validate their ideas, build their product, and prepare for growth.
What You Get
Selected teams receive:
- €2,500 per month per founder through the Berlin Startup Stipendium
- A structured 10-month program focused on building and validating your startup
- Access to a network of mentors, healthcare professionals, and investors
- Hands-on support in product development, business strategy, and go-to-market

Who Should Apply
We are looking for teams of 2 to 3 people who:
- Are working on a healthcare-related idea or early-stage startup
- Have at least one team member with healthcare experience or strong domain knowledge
- Are ready to commit full-time to building their startup
- Are based in Berlin or willing to relocate by the start of the program
- Have an early prototype or a clear idea ready to be developed further
Program Structure
The incubator runs for 10 months and is structured in different phases:
- Understanding and validating the problem
- Developing and testing the solution
- Building a sustainable business model
- Preparing for growth, partnerships, and investment
- Presenting your startup at a final Demo Day
Application Process
The application process is simple and focused on understanding your team and idea:
1. Submit your application online
Share key information about your team, your idea, and your motivation.
2. Evaluation by experts
If your application meets the eligibility criteria, it will be reviewed by a panel of experts from the healthcare and startup ecosystem.
3. Interview (shortlisted teams)
Selected teams will be invited to an interview to dive deeper into your idea, team, and approach.
4. Final selection
Based on the evaluations and interviews, the final teams will be selected to join the program.
