David has 10+ years of experience in the healthcare sector as a digital strategist, product leader and transformation manager. Within digital health, he has a particular interest in femtech, mental health as well as voice & mobile app technologies. He serves as an advisor and mentor to a variety of healthcare startup and grownup companies, based in Germany or looking to enter the German/European market.
In 2014 he founded ONELIFE Health, a medical care network that empowers women to take ownership of their maternity care. The company was a pioneer in the digital health field, being one of the first to be certified as a medical device. It raised over 2 Mio. EUR in capital (in 2 rounds from business angels & Philips) and grew to a team of 20, with b2b customers and partners in the DACH region, the US and Middle East. In 2018, the company’s assets were sold.
Prior to working in healthcare, David was working for North American consulting companies and advised numerous multi-national companies in the telco and media industries. He helped well-known brands establish and transform their digital business. He worked across strategy development, program management, business analysis and account management.
While his education is management-focused, he also has a broad functional and technical skill-set with a special focus on digital health products and platforms.
