For more than 15 years, Bernhard’s passion is to shape the future of healthcare. He is deeply involved in disease management and medical devices ranging from enteral nutrition to chronic diseases like diabetes. He is excited to build new ventures by pushing boundaries and reimagining old ways of doing things by leveraging Lean Innovation (covering topics as different as Design Thinking, Lean StartUp and Agility) and establishing in-house startups.
Besides, he is involved as a mentor for various digital health incubators, has invested in promising digital health startups and co-founded a mental health startup.
His areas of interest are nutrition, chronic diseases, Alzheimer, sleep, mental health and longevity as well as digital transformation, DTx and digital diagnostics & monitoring – from idea to creating impact at scale.
