Problem
Many women face ongoing stress. It comes from balancing work, caregiving, relationships and societal expectations. Hormonal changes add to this pressure, too. When left unaddressed, chronic stress is serious. It can lead to burnout and depression. Moreover, it can cause other long-term mental health challenges.
Solution
Building mental resilience should be part of preventive healthcare. In fact, it is essential for long-term well-being. Helthea helps women recognize stress patterns. Through a structured, science-based approach, they establish healthier habits. As a result, women develop sustainable strategies for everyday challenges. The startup focuses on prevention and long-term behavioural change. Therefore, it aims to reduce the impact of chronic stress and support lasting mental well-being.
Moreover, the program is developed together with women. It is also supported by psychologists. This ensures both practical relevance and an evidence-based methodology.

Problem
Managing an autoimmune disease is challenging. For many people, it can feel like a full-time job. Symptoms, treatments and lab results are often spread across disconnected systems. Specialist appointments add to this complexity, too. As a result, patients are left to coordinate their own care. This fragmented approach creates a significant emotional burden. Moreover, it contributes to poorer health outcomes. It also leads to substantial healthcare costs.
Solution
Kinu Health is building a digital companion for people with autoimmune conditions. It brings health data, symptoms and lifestyle factors together in one place. As a result, users gain a clearer understanding of their condition. Furthermore, the platform helps users make more informed decisions. In the long term, Kinu Health aims to enable more proactive care. This is achieved through predictive insights and improved collaboration between patients and healthcare providers.

Problem
Digital health platforms across Europe need conversational AI to stay competitive. However, building it safely and compliantly is costly. It can cost upwards of 500k euros and take 12 to 18 months. AI systems in health are different from normal software. They cannot simply be shipped and iterated. Instead, they must be tested across hundreds of real user scenarios before they can be called safe. As a result, most platforms cannot afford the time or the cost. Therefore, they are falling behind. Meanwhile, the demand for AI-assisted health support continues to grow rapidly.
Solution
MODULE AI delivers a modular, API-first conversational AI platform. Clients configure it themselves, upload their own content and launch it under their own brand. Compliance and safety monitoring are fully handled. Furthermore, input and output filtering are included. Crisis escalation is also taken care of. As a result, clients get a production-ready, branded AI companion. Moreover, it goes live with real users in just eight weeks. This saves clients 350k euros or more compared to building internally.

Problem
For many patients, rehabilitation doesn’t end in the clinic. It continues at home. Yet 50 to 70% of patients struggle to adhere to their prescribed home exercise programs. Common challenges include forgetting exercises and performing them incorrectly. Moreover, many patients discontinue their programs altogether. At the same time, physiotherapists have little visibility into patient progress between appointments. As a result, recovery slows down and treatment is prolonged. Furthermore, this leads to an estimated €414 million in avoidable physiotherapy costs each year in Germany alone.
Solution

Problem
Emergency departments across Europe are under growing pressure. Increasing patient volumes, staff shortages and overcrowding are key challenges. Yet triage decisions still rely largely on individual clinicians. These professionals make rapid assessments under significant time pressure. As a result, critical conditions can be missed and treatment is delayed. Furthermore, waiting times increase and healthcare professionals face greater strain. Therefore, hospital systems as a whole are feeling the impact.
Solution
Accurate and timely triage is essential for safe and efficient emergency care. SymbioFlow uses AI to support clinical teams during the patient intake process. The solution combines patient-reported information with vital sign analysis. Furthermore, it provides clinical decision support. As a result, high-risk cases are identified earlier and triage recommendations become more consistent. Therefore, pressure on emergency department staff is reduced. Moreover, patient flow improves. This ultimately supports better outcomes for patients.

Problem
Accessing mental health support in Germany is difficult. Patients wait an average of 142 days between their initial consultation and the start of therapy. Moreover, they receive little to no structured support during this period. As a result, many experience worsening symptoms. There is no monitoring, guidance or care coordination. Furthermore, 8.3% never reach a first therapy appointment at all. This unserved phase of care impacts patient well-being significantly. It is also estimated to cost Germany €1.47 billion annually in absenteeism alone.
Solution
Syncd Health is transforming the therapy waiting period. Instead of a gap in care, it becomes an opportunity for support and preparation. Through its digital companion, MAE, patients can navigate the mental health system. Furthermore, they can monitor their well-being and access structured guidance while waiting for treatment. At the same time, MAE supports therapists, too. It provides valuable insights into a patient’s symptom development, experiences and goals. As a result, the transition into therapy becomes smoother and more informed.

Problem
Lymphedema is a chronic and progressive condition. It affects more than 250 million people worldwide. Managing the disease requires consistent daily care. This includes compression therapy, physical activity and regular monitoring. Yet many patients still rely on paper-based tracking or disconnected tools. As a result, it is difficult to stay on top of their condition and identify early warning signs. Furthermore, disease progression often goes unnoticed. Meanwhile, clinicians lack access to consistent data between appointments. Therefore, serious complications can arise. These include infections, reduced mobility and long-term disability.
Solution
Ynone supports patients throughout their entire lymphoedema journey. This includes structured symptom tracking, therapy monitoring and AI-powered health coaching. Furthermore, it enables early infection detection. By providing continuous support between clinical visits, patients can take a more active role in managing their condition. At the same time, clinicians benefit from structured longitudinal data. As a result, they can make more informed treatment decisions. Moreover, Ynone offers secure communication tools and multilingual support. Therefore, expert care becomes more accessible. This is true regardless of location or language.
